G9 movie mode - auto shutoff?

I had the G9 on 1024 movie mode and after 3 minutes, the camera shut down. Is this because of the power saving setting? Auto power down is set to ON and display off is set to 1 MIN. Lens retract is set to 1 MIN as well.

I would imagine that these settings are for idle cameras, though.
