Blooms every year, 6" or larger blossoms, as saturated as red gets and has a very light-reflective texture.

Shot with 5D, Canon 50mm f/1.4, ISO400, f/9, outdoors with faux velvet background.

Lights = 1x brolly camera left and overhead flash w/omnibounce attached.
