Anybody else having problems with the install? Or, more specifically, keeping the drivers installed and operational after a reboot?

I originally bought my Intuos4 Med when I was running Vista x64. I did an upgrade install to Win7 RC, and everything was smooth. Since the final rebuild with Win 7 Pro, when the RC expired, I haven't been able to keep my tablet up and running - the drivers need to be reinstalled every time I want to use it. This is problematic in and of itself, but I like to use custom functions, here and there, so it makes it an even bigger pain in the butt.

As an aside, now that I'm used to using a tablet for editing, I just can't go back to a mouse; because of this, I haven't been shooting as much and I've been processing even less... gar...

So, you're still using the RC right now? Might be time to get a full release :)

No, see above post - I rebuilt with Win 7 Pro when the RC expired in March.

Ahhh, OK. Did you dl the newest drivers from Wacom? Elevate permissions when installing? Install for all users? Does the install directory allow full control to SYSTEM? Have you tried creating another user and trying to install there?

"Ask, and ye problem shall go away!"

'Yes' to all of your above questions, except for the last... but now it seems to be sticking, even though I haven't done anything that I hadn't tried previously... which is unfortunate, because there seem to be a lot of people (outside of POTN, evidently) experiencing the same issues - I would have liked to been a help to them, too. Oh well - thanks for the consideration!
