This little male Kinglet displayed his crown quite nicely for me.

I'd say he sure did display his crown for you...never realized it was that big.

Thanks. He displayed it a few times while I was shooting. I managed about 4 shots. Quite a thing to see. It just... opened up.

Shirley, this is simply a "grand" image... just getting a shot of the "ping pong ball with feathers" is tough enough, but capturing the display is marvelous... good practice for the warblers :)
