Nice shot Julian, I like the way the water in the foreground seems to pull your eyes to the background.

Thanks John. That was my intention with this image. :)

Very nice, you can almost feel the movement.

Thanks Artillerist.:)

nice composition, the sense of movement in the water is captured aptly

Thanks for the feedback PPM. I love doing these types of shots. :)

This is spot on! Wonderfully composed and exposed. Love how that water movement draws you right into the image. Fantastic work

Thanks Moacur. It took me several tries to capture the water this way. :)

Dang, Julian...that almost gave me a bit of vertigo for an instant. :D

Thanks Mike. I didn't expect vertigo as a response but, I'll take it. ;) I had my tripod pretty low for this one. I had to combat the water splashing up on the rock and onto my filter several times but, I finally captured what I was going for. :D

Sorry for the confusion...that was meant as a compliment. The low angle and choice of shutter speed really accentuated the motion of the water...almost made me reach for a handrail. :)

Hehe! I did take it as a compliment. :D I can see how the image can cause some vertigo. :D Thanks!

I like it. composition is strong, good choice of shutter speed (1.3) excellent conversion. I have been experimenting with wave shots, and have found 0.6 to 1 second have good results

Thanks Kevin. I like extreme long exposures but, there are times when shorter shutter speeds really show motion of the image. :D

Really excellent use of this technique, Julian! Great exposure and it really feels like it's moving while you view it.
