Ok, so not exactly for sale by me, but....

I picked up a couple this evening at Costco, $34.99 each for 8gb Ultra II 30MMB/s cards. I see how fast they sell on here for around that same price, so just thought I'd give a heads up if anyone is looking. It's their regular price both in the stores (at least locally) as well as online at costco.com. They also had them for $8 off recently, I missed that sale.

Just FYI.....

Whenever they have the instant rebate I try to pick up a couple, they make great gifts too!

Does one need to be a member for online purchase?

Yeah, I missed that and then needed to pick several up for a trip to Africa. Still, even at $35, I think it is a pretty good price, and at $28, you could resell them used for more.....

I saw these there last week and was tempted. If they don't go on sale in the next coupon cycle (starting 5/13 IIRC) I will be picking up a few.

Also, at least near me, the cards that were on sale/instant rebate last time were not the same cards. They were the slower Ultra II 15 MB/s cards.

I noticed those cards at Costco, but I thought they just said Ultra without the II.

They do clearly say 8gb 300 mbs.

San disk changed their naming scheme, so the new "Ultra" (30 mbs) are faster than the old "Ultra II" (15 mbs).

Nothing like adding a little extra confusion...

The ones I picked up yesterday say Ultra II, 8gb, 30 MB/s.

there's usually a 5% surcharge for non-members.. but looks like you can get this on amazon for just over $35 shipped w/o tax - http://www.amazon.com …ting/B0030VNBEI?tag=1.-20 (external link)
