Arca Swiss Clamp on 322RC2, is it possible?

The 322RC2 is the hand grip action ball head, has any one done the modification to covert it to adapt a Arca-Swiss clamp?
I have 322RC2 mounted on monopod and like the setup very much for the quick action so it would be a hard time to get rid of it.

Since the clamp itself is built into that head, I doubt there is ant way to "convert" it, however you could mount the RC2 plate that you have (preferably with some Loctite) onto the bottom of say an RRS lever clamp or some other Arca-Swiss style clamp and effectually then have an Arca-Swiss compatible clamp on that head. IMO you should sell the head and get something like the Bogen/Manfrotto 498 without a clamp if possible and then you could mount whatever clamp you want on it. LINK (external link)
