New 7d owner, help with AF testing -- Canon Digital Cameras in photography-on-the.net forums

So my 7d is in the big brown truck right now, enroute to my house. I have read some of the posts with the 7d and some people have AF issues. Can someone give me some advice on the best way to test my AF when I crack open the box? What settings should I try it on, etc.

If there is a post already explaining this, then sorry...there just seem to be quite a few threads and I can really navigate through them all.
