I have LR 2.6 and CS4 installed, in the tool box at bottom of my pc screen, and either will come up when clicked.

When I right click on a thumbnail in 'My Pictures' and go to 'Open In', LR does not appear anywhere in that menu. PS, Windows viewer, and others, but no LR.

Anyone know how to include LR in the 'Open In' menu?

Thanks

LR doesn't oen like this because it is a catalog process rather than an image viewer/editor app. To see an image in Lightroom you need to import it first, at which point it is part of the catalog and doesn't need to be individually "opened".

So, you start by opening LR, then click the Import button in the Library module (or Ctrl-Shft-I), then you can select the Import from files and folders option and browse to your images. You can then choose a folder and click Choose Selected to bring the whole folder into your Import dialog or you can browse to a list of files in a folder and choose accordingly.
