Sigmalux vs 24-70L (No flash, just light from the window....) Neutral setting on the 5Dc body, no camera or PP sharpening done.

Using 5Dc body. Which is which? :-) -- both wide open. Just to show how close Sigmalux is compare to the 24-70L.

Focus at his right eye.

Bottom one has thinner DOF. Bottom one is the Sigmalux.

The photo on top looks sharper, but I can't see lens info.
Which is it?
Can't compare f1.4 to f2.8.

Darn! Using the same ISO800 and adjusting the exposure setting in the middle of the BAR, you can see how helpful an f1.4 is WOW! 1/200 compare to 1/40.

Looking at your lens lineup, Yep! that`s an L lens disease. LOL!

My camera body seems to have an end stage Parkinson's disease....:o

If you want to compare bokeh would go outside and get some light =)

Both handheld shots.

Focus on his right eye. The f1.4 DOF is so thin ( Pic. Below) 1/200 sec.

Top pic same focus on his right eye. Subject was a bit moving forward when I took it. f2.8 1/40sec.

This was taken using a NEUTRAL setting on the body. No sharpening done on the body and obviously, no Software PP. I took these pics for a buyer of my lens.

I bought the Sigma new more than a month now and the 24-70 used on April 2.

Here is another shot on tripod without flash. Knowing that I`m using a NEUTRAL setting on the body, no sharpening, I wonder if this copy of the SIGMALUX is decent enough ?

wide open focus on M...
