What a cutie!

Both of these are out of focus. Get that focus point directly on one of the eyes. In the first one it looks to be somewhere around her collar on her right side and onto the plaid behind her. The first one also looks just a tad overexposed, but the white balance looks spot on.

The second one, also out of focus, the white balance is a little towards the coolish side, and just a tad underexposed. Also a little too tight on the crop as her ear is cut off.

Are you able to post the settings and exif data on these, particularly the second one? Then we can help you specifically which direction to go. I hope you have opportunity to capture her much, much more, she seems to enjoy the camera!
