My first Macro shots (2) - Man this is fun!

All,

Well, just acquired a Tamron 60 2.0 macro the other day and took my first ever close-ups. Morning. Cloudy. Very soft light.

Also used Live View (w/ 10x magnfication) for the first time and found this extremely helpful.

Anyway, I'm new at this and would love your thoughts on the two pictures. This lens is going to be a blast I can tell already!

Welcome to the macro world. Looks like a great lens.

#1 looks grat
For #2 I would go find a specimen that was not as damaged.
