Nice shot, but for those of you who posted that the loss of its eye doesn't seem to affect its hunting, this is a captive animal according to Josh's blog.

You are being disingenuous with your title, you should replace the word kill with dinner.

Zoo animals are fed they do not generally hunt.

Sorry, there was no intent to be disingenuous. It is clearly spelled out the write up of this photograph on my blog where it was taken. The title just seemed appropriate and was not intended to misconstrue. I didn't even really consider the implication.

Josh - I think most people who post a shot of a captive animal indicate that the animal is captive in their post. It helps to always tell people where the shot was taken whether it was taken in the wild or in a captive environment. Many people are not going to take the time to read your blog. I only did so because I assumed a leopard that healthy but missing an eye had to be captive and I also thought that the meat looked like it was cut or store bought so did not understand why people thought this was a wild animal. Your blog confirmed my belief that it was captive. I would have preferred to have that information right in your post than having to go to your blog and scroll through it.
