Great shot Shirley....the only time I've gotten a chance at one of these...we played catch me if you can around and around a tree LOL, but I finally caught him.

I love these birds Shirley, beautiful shot, well lit and the BG is so complimentary... I have the male and female in my woods now, they are a treat to watch and listen to.

Very pretty bird Shirley, these have more yellow on them than our Red-naped sapsuckers. Nice capture!
