Great shots Waleriy!

Yes, and impressive DOF on the first image for being shot at F/2? :)

Finally, after 5 weeks my 42mm to EOS EMF chipped adapter arrived. Now I am ready to test my soviet gear.

IMG NOTICE: [NOT AN IMAGE URL, NOT RENDERED INLINE]

Bottom row : EMF adapter, 49mm to 58mm step up, 58mm reverse mount adapter
Middle row : 2x Japanese teleconverter for 49mm lens, bought used 7 euros,
Mir 1B 37mm/2.8 bought new at the flea market for 20 euros,
Helios 44-2 58mm/2 bought used with a Zenit E at the flea market for 20 euros,
Leningrad light meter found in the old photo bag.
Top row: Old lens case, 1 euro, plastic extension rings with case, 3 euros,
metal extension rings, 10 euros and last the Leningrad's case.

Sample with the 58mm

Stopped down, worked some curves and levers on the RAW tab of DPP.

Sample with the 37mm
IMG NOTICE: [NOT AN IMAGE URL, NOT RENDERED INLINE]
Stopped down more, worked some curves and levers on the RAW tab of DPP.

I am not very impressed with these lenses. They are diffcult to focus and stop down. The Helios is crisper and has smoother rings than the Mir-1v.
Of course the Nifty fifty 50mm/1.8 is a lot more better and easier.
I will test them further, they are interesting and their results in macro are impressive.

Some simple photos

Freelensing with my 40D and my friend's medium format Vega 90mm F/2.8 lens. Contrast and levels adjusted, but colors are as rendered by the soviet lens.

I just bought a Helios 44-2, and should be in my hands in up to two months. Looking forward to using this lens on my 1Ds.
