Looks good. Nice Blue sky, etc.
What's the story on that old Sail Boat if you know?

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

I really don't know. Looks like she sunk during a storm. The port is vulnerable to the strong south winds of the winter.

Tair 135mm/f2.8 and an extension ring

and Jupiter 21M 200mm/f4 and an extension ring

They are both sharp wide open, I think the Tair has a softer bokeh.

They both appear to have very nice bokeh, however the light seemed to have changed slightly between shots giving the Tair a Greener background. Either way, both seem nice. :)

Hey !

Can you please give me some examples of m42 50mm-around-ish lenses with f/1.2 only?
Cheaper and more expensive too.
Which you would like to have, and why?
Photo samples are more than welcome.
I'm interested in those which can be mounted on EF with adapter.

Thanks!

Stetzam,
I personally like your Tair rose more. Here is one thing I discovered how to get rid of spots on background. I adjust yellow color in lightroom reducing saturation. Here is your pic

^ I like it better too! It's only pink against a large green background.
Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try!

Sometimes you need to tune other colors as well, but most of the time it works for quick spot editing just with yellow saturation.
I would like to know how not to get those spots at the first place, they are annoying :)

Are you using that lens always wide open?

Today I shoot with helios almost wide open, mostly f/2.8, sometimes 2.

Yes. It's characteristics wide open are what makes it unique. You stop it down a bit - and it behaves like any other lens. When I get a fast lens, I am not interested in it being anything other than fast - that is precisely why I get it. And since I mostly shoot at night, wide open is what I need and like.
