hi hollis
i thought that the ssd drive does not work with the hyperdrive album or colorspace?
Well, I've not actually tried it, but I can't think why it shouldn't work. However, it's not something I would seriously consider (well, not for a couple of years when prices have dropped a lot). The only real advantage would be reliability and power consumption.
When Intel release their 3G drives sometime next year I may replace my 160GB G2 with a larger G3 and stick the old drive in my Colorspace, just to see what it's like. I doubt it would be any faster (as the read speed from the card would be the bottleneck) but it could make the battery life even better. And it should survive any rough handling way better than a HDD.
