"Storm Gathering": I like the picture but I don't think the BW worked on your favor for this particular subject

"Ladderpipe at Twilight": I like the colors on the ladder, but a different composition would have more impact.

"The Storm Is Here": the dark clouds really send the message, the black line on the horizon is also nice.

"Big Cloud": It really is. Love the saturated colors and the metering spot on. Looks like smoke coming from the trees.

"Break Away": The cloud seems to be very close to the bridge, good capture. I think it lacks a bit of dynamic range tough.

"Old Tree": Mixed feelings on the desaturated colors. I they they work in favor to the old tree, but for this challenge subject I would prefer a saturated blue sky...

"Partly Cloudy": The sky looks strange to me, maybe its the jpg compression, its looks too soft compared to good details on the buildings.

"Cuban Sunset": nice warm colors, perhaps a bit more underexposed?

@thanerdo: you forgot the title and you completely blow up the highlights the left side of the picture.

"sunset cloud over port silhouette": amazing detail on the lines of the cranes, too bad the cloud isn't more relevant. I kept coming to this picture, but for the lines and not the clouds...

"Golden Clouds" I like how we can still see the orange between on the trees

@garys1: you forgot the title, I think the rocks needs a bit more light.

"Cape Fear": I like to see the light coming from that opening on the clouds introducing warm colors, good reflections on the water.

"Afternoon on the Lanai": Nice HDR, you just have one problem with the pink color cast on the tree, what happened there?

"July 4th 2009 natures fireworks display": Love the colors on the sky, I would prefer to see a bit more ground.

For 3rd I choose "The Storm Is Here" from Jason C

For 2nd I choose "Break Away" from Flo

And as the winner I pick "Big Cloud", congratulations John_B!

Thanks for participating guys, I hope to see you guys next week :)
