As I was biking home yesterday with only my 40d and 85mm in hand, I happened to stumble into a large protest. Unfortunately I didn't have my flash with me.

The thousands who attended were protesting against farmed salmon practices and the affect on wild Pacific Salmon, a hot issue on this side of Canada.

This was my first outing with my new 85mm 1.8, I was very happy with the sharpness of the lens, even wide open. The resizing to 1024 for the web killed that sharpness.

Great shots. Don´t know why you missed your flash. Don´t care for # 1, #2. and #8 though (people are more interesting than signs).
