Ok so long story short.... my pc is poorly so using old pc and crappy monitor for lightroom editing then laptop for photoshop elements editing....until my main pc is feeling better and fixed.

so I am inexperienced with kids, and two year olds...well lol not very cooperative but I gave it my best shot for a friend...

I would love to know how the colours look on calibrated monitors, especially the first shot, is the black on her dress black enough or two black, any strange color cast on the skin? if it looks funny please feel free tt correct and post so I have something I can base my other edits on. also general c an c welcomed.

I don't have a calibrated monitor, but I still wanted to comment and say that these look awesome!! Good job :)

Brandy :D I'm not claiming to be an awesome photographer, so there's no need to tell me I'm not one, but I am claiming to be a new photographer who's learning and trying to be the best I can be at it ;) My recently new website, which is temporary until I can afford a real one!~ www.free2bemephotography.weebly.com (external link) ~ Currently using a Canon Rebel T1i EOS 500D

I like these a lot, that first one is a great family shot!!

I am not sure if you have the PS skills but I would get rid of the black hair tie on the mom's wrist in #1.

I like #4 more than #3.

Love the tutu shot. The comp and the coloring is adorable!

The last shot is great also. Maybe a bit too dark? I dunno, just my opinion.

Now using a Canon SX50 and loving it :)

definitely prefer 4 over 3.

I think the processing works well in 2. Granted, it's not a photo that will probably ever be bought just for itself and hung on a wall somehwere... I like it the best.

1 is good. If it were mine, I'd go without the dreamy/glow look. That's just a matter of taste though.

Thank you for the feedback, I do really appreciated it. I figured out how to get my new monitor hooked to my old PC and data color sent me a knew serial number for my spyder2express, so things are a little better now...although my pc is not fixed :( at least I had kept my old PC and not donated it to the Airman Attic -which is what we originally had planned.

Thanks for pointing out the hair tie. I can get rid of that. clone tool is my friend :D

Once again, Thank you.
