Alaska Girl's Softball

C&C on these for me please. I have shot high school sporting events but this is my first chance to photograph softball.

Definitely crop the pitcher much tighter in the first one, it wouldn't be a bad pitching shot.. not sure what you're shooting in the second one.. if the batter then shoot her more in frame, the rest of the frame is out of focus some to me.

The third would be a nice hitting picture if her back foot was the left side of the frame and hitting into the open space on the right.. the rest of the open space between the catcher and batter make me lose what I'm looking at..

The last one is an interesting angle of shooting a pitcher.. interesting framing from umpire's uniform/equipment in the same shape of the pitchers body.. I'd be interested in what others think of that one, it might make me attempt something similar

excellent job on freezing the ball in both pitcher shots, but it is Alaska, after all.
