to me #4 is the strongest out of the entire set. It has most of the elements of a good landscape photo. Which is what my advice for the rest are.

1- Get some interesting foreground elements as well as background elements.
2- Try to shoot around the hours of sunrise and sunset. The light is coming at an angle and creates interesting shadows, highlights and colours in the sky and ground as well. At the same time don't let that stop you from shooting in the middle of the day, but it sure helps your images look better.
3- Read up on the rule of thirds. It will help you compose a more compelling image.
4- If you don't have a good circular polarising filter, get one. It would help saturate the colours in your image. Your skies would be bluer and so on.
5- If the colours in the image aren't doing much for it convert it to black and white. You would be surprised how a drab image can suddenly become interesting when we can only focus on form rather than colours.
6- In #1 a grad filter or shooting bracketed exposures then blending in post process will help you from having a blown out sky (where there is pure white in the image, which you want to avoid most of the time when shooting landscape).

Hope this helps, there are tons of other tips and suggestions but these are some of the basics. Just remember to have fun.
