So I'm using a Canon Digital Rebel XT with a Canon EF 55mm f/1.8 II lens. I'm just a beginner, and hope to get some tips and tricks from here that can help improve my photography!

PS: What would the best way for attaching the images here be? Is there a way to attach it as small thumbnails so they get larger when you click them?

Post to Photobucket (external link) and copy the IMG code from there. I always find that the best.

You are probably right about the BG and the lighting lol. These are probably some of the first shots I took with my then new DSLR! I just used whatever lighting was in the room, and the background was whatever was on my desk at that moment :lol: I was actually more interested in trying out my then new 50mm f/1.8 and looking at the bokeh :lol:
