ID Request...

I know these are not great photographs but has anyone got any ideas what the hell this little beetle is (other than a great design for a fuel tan on a motorbike), it was about 5mm long and it had a metallic sheen.

I promise I was not out playing with some new paints!

Think it's a rosemary beetle - often decimates rosemary and lavender bushes if in large numbers.

Thanks... Fortunately we managed to kill all of our rosemary ourselves and have not planted any more, it was on it's lonesome by our lilac and elderflower bushes
