Multiple exposures: What do you think?

This past week I've been playing with multiple exposures done in post processing(as opposed to in camera which old film bodies and some nikon dslrs can do).

I'm curious on peoples general opinion of these? I don't see many of them and I wonder if they are looked down on like most applications of selective coloring and overdone HDR.

This is just a question out of curiosity. Regardless of the replies I'm going to continue shooting them because they have potential in my mind :)

I've attached my first two test shots, which are proof of concept and not final products. The #2 is open to critique because I will be reshooting with better wardrobe.

They're fine. I've seen several examples in the forum, mainly in the People section. Like any technique, it can be very effective if done well, but doesn't on its own make a picture good.
