Its double the price of the 28-135 IS.........which would make it around 800-900 USD.

1898 euros is $2312 USD and the 5D price of 3698 euros is $4505 USD. I don't think that these prices are going to be very competetive unless some adjustments are made.

Hey, Tommy's English may not be perfect, but it is better than a certain current American president's English.

Well, that's not saying much.

Sheesh...
According to http://www.canon.com.au …standard_zoom_lenses.html (external link) (and I trust this site a bit more than I trust some really bad online shop) the price is 2000 AUD.

At the same time, their RRP for the 24-70 is 2700 AUD and 4000 AUD for the 70-200 IS. On B&H, the 24-70 costs 1140 USD and the 70-200 IS is 1700 USD...
Some basic math using these numbers tell us that the 24-105 will cost between 850-900 USD on B&H. At least if they keep the same price compared to the others australian RRP ;)

So stop b*tching about the price. Please.

I am danish so excuse me if I can't remember all the english grammar rules. But did you understand the text?

I didn't mean to offend... I'm sure your english is better than my danish, I was just wondering if there was a specific reason for capitalising that particular word.

Seriously, I wasn't criticising!

I've always wanted to ask... Why to you always capitalise the word "you"?

Tommy, please don't start to write in Danish or whatever, or else...

... I'll answer in Portuguese

Well, not very advanced math...
And there is a much bigger difference between RRP-AUD and B&H-USD, compared to ordinary AUD vs. USD :D

Rick, I hate to tell you this, but we all have exactly the same problems with communicating and missing things in threads and taking offense and not taking offense and mistyping and mis-using words and grammar wierdness. We also have people who get upset when they see an ellipsis being used, or people who don't capitalize anything or who write in ALL CAPS, etc., etc. So, don't hang your head in shame ... the only Danish I know is "Mock Danish" as spoken by the Danish Chef on the Muppets! :-)
