Last time I posted pics of U505 it started a debate. I've since learned that the error in my previous post was that this was the only German submarine captured in WWII by the US Navy. Anyway, I am aware that the British did capture one in 1941, but that this sub was also an important catch, even though it was late in the war that it was captured.
This shot was handheld, braced on a handrail, for 10 seconds. I tried several times with a flash, and it just didn't do justice, so being digital, I figured it wouldn't cost me anything for processing, so I went for it. Braced on the rail, shut down the aperture to let the people blur out, and took the shot. Wadaya think?
