...so long as it has a hotshoe mount? I am going to use it remotely in manual mode. I've been looking at some really cheap second-hand flashes just to get me started in off camera multi-setups. Have a 430 EXii already.

Any help, as always, gratefully received!

I don't own a canon flash. I have been trying OCF with YN 460 II flash and RF-602 triggers for couple of months now.... works great.

Just make sure that it indeed has manual mode with adjustable power settings. Given the battery consumption/slow recycle times for those old beaters you might find in a thrift shop its probably better to spring for one of the YN flashes, like the 460II. For around $50 or less you cant complain.

Hi,

Thanks for responses. Hadn't thought about speed of recycle time; will most probably go for a Yongnuo now!

Cheers guys

David
