Flycatchers are one of my favorite species of birds and I always look forward to their return in the spring. Over the past couple weeks they're getting more and more numerous. Here are some shots taken of several different Flycatchers taken from the past couple weeks. Both Kingbirds are heavy crops. Thanks for looking.

Scissor-tailed Flycatcher

Eastern Kingbird

Western Kingbird

Terrific shots, Brad. I have often chased a western kingbird as it moves from place to place along a fence. They seem to be big on teasing.

Good looking set Brad, and that long tail is amazing. I would love to see that bird in flight. We have the Ash-throated flycatcher here at the Canyon. I enjoy seeing and hearing them.

Thanks a lot Stan... IMO, They're the most skittish of the three.

Thanks Steve, They're really pretty in-flight. You can see their salmon pink belly and flanks.
