So I got a chance for another kick at this cat, as I was up in the area, and luck would see a train headed over to drop a single hopper at Putnam.

Thanks, it was just a matter of hoping the sun wasn't hidden under a cloud, since dropping a single car wasn't going to take very long. I have had passing train shots ruined because of a cloud covering the sun, just as the train approached.

Thanks.

I got to thinking about how great this shot would be with modern CP Rail equipment on this line, but those days have passed us by, and I wasted time shooting MX instead of chasing trains, as CP just transferred this line over to the Ontario Southland last December. But OSR does have an eclectic mix of power and this place isn't that far away from home.
