So here's a non-digital question for you...

Where would I go about buying a bulk film loader?

I'm taking a photography class with film and I'm trying to find a loader, but my professor said specifically not to buy a "LLoyds" brand one, conveniently the only one the only photo store has within a 100 mile radius.

I've done a little bit of browsing but can't find much of anything. Does anyone know where I can pick one up?

FYI: Also looking to buy a camera in the classifieds, help me out ;).

Amazon has one.

Or get it directly from Adorama

I'm kind of hesitant buying the store-branded one (even if it is from Adorama) - is that pretty much my only option these days?

I did find another made by Arista, but it looks to be the same one.

I use Watson bulk film loaders, which are wonderful. However, I can only find them on eBay, which probably means they aren't in production anymore. Still, they seem to be going for ~20, which isn't too bad. The ones in my darkroom are 10+ years old and still going strong, so they are definitely worth the investment.

I used to use a Watson back in my film days. Close enough to accurate on the frame count.

It's kind of fun loading your own rolls. :)

I used to own a Watson bulk film loader and it was very nice. I'd start with Google and go from there.
