I just got a T2i and like the high ISO performance. I find it fine at 3200 and a bit noisy, but usable at 6400. I was surprised at the evaluation of noise in this camera by Pop PHOT.
They rated noise as unacceptable at 3200.

Am I just too easy? I thought that a really good feature of this camera, in addition to resolution, is the high ISO performance. I do find that the buttons on the back get a bit cluttered and close together, but it works for me.

I find ISO 3200 useable.. it's a pleasant "light" noise to me.. on my friend's t2i at least.
Doesn't bother me too much. it's like the ISO 1600 on my XSI to me. I just try not to crop and it doesn't bother me!

ISO 6400 is gross I have to admit :(

It's not going to be a giant billboard poster but 6400 isn't all bad if you expose well and spend just a little time PP'ing the photo.

iso6400, 1/40s, f/1.4 (Basically, the room was extremely dark as the lights were dimmed for my son's nap time.):

Looks like it has better high ISO capabilities as my 40D? ISO 3200 on my 40D is just horrible and 1600 needs some extra intention in PP.
