Nice solutions, but IMHO, I do not believe a brand new product should require immediate modifications in order to operate properly or avoid damage to your gear. The Luma is much better in this regard.

I agree the luma loop is a better design, but if you've paid 70 each for 2 BR-5's you got to make them work some how.

What is a good cheap tripod plate that is thin that would fit in a 5Dc ? Nothing fancy- Not really using a tripod, but will use the plate for body protection against the metal part of RS-7.
