Just noticed that Canon USA's moved the SX1 IS from their main page to the Archives. If that wasn't a mistake on their part, we may see a follow-on model in a month or so.

Camera Stuff List - made under duress Canon Sx1 IS - Yes it is official I have a P&S making me a member of the underclass. Unclean! Unclean! You might have a big telephoto lens but I have a Janco Adapter - I don't blame you for being jealous. 3€ Neoprene Strap from China - its so soft. Nope. I'm not tossing my SX-1. It's still a good camera, and if you wait for the next model to come out, you'll always be waiting and never photographing. You have a camera now - go use it and when you wear it out or outgrow it then you can get something else with a clear conscience.
