What lens did you use to get them so close? Cool shots. Is it the Roybal British Airforce?

That's the Italian team - Frecce Tricolori - "Three Coloured Arrows".

The Royal Air Force use the same aircraft (BAe Hawks) and are called The Red Arrows.

Mooneyes,
What lens did you use to get them so close?

I used the Canon 100-400IS before it started giving me constant error 01 messages for the rest of the weekend it is now at Canon for repair. The shot is striaight out of the camera as they say, with no cropping,but a bit of sharpening for the web.
