Congratulations on the "Lifer" Stephen... a beautiful addition; I am happy you got to see & photograph this tiny, beautiful warbler... I think your images turned out exceptionally for the conditions you describe.
I am fortunate to have this warbler nest on my property, as I have an abundance of usnea moss that they nest exclusively in... I am impatiently waiting for their return.

Thanks Dave. There is a lot of the same moss around my parents place so perhaps this species is a regular there too.

WOW!!!! Outstanding job. And what a beautiful and interesting little bird. I understand their vocalizations are just as amazing.

Thanks JH.

Quispamsis, eh?! Small world...I'm in Saint John!
Nice shots too!! I've been trying my darndest to track down a dang Cardinal. They're avoiding me, I swear it.

Thanks Starstream. I grew up in Saint John (east end) where are you?

Nice shots Stephen. This is a bird I have only heard of, never seen.
Thanks Mitch. I was very pleased to see it. My dad planted 8 fruit trees (apple, cherry and pear) about 15 years ago and he doesn't spray them so I've seen several new warbler species during my visits over the past couple of summers.
Cyclop thanks for taking the time to comment.

Way to go, Stephen. Now see, good things happen when you pay a visit to Mom & Pop.
You're right Stan but spending time with them was the bigger bonus!
