Wow, just put together a super multiquote, then the server here went down for 2 minutes and I lost it all. Nice photographs today.

Hey, yeah, me, too. My multi quote was HUGE. Really. I went back, gee, I don't know, over the last couple of years and made quote after quote, copy and pasted comments, had a bunch of links to other stuff. Huge. Epic.

Now, it's all gone. Pity.

Anyway. Hi.

I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.

5 adoptions today, with a possible 6th. :)

Teddy B, our little old pomeranian.
Katie, the younger of the 2 chihuahuas that we got from the woman in ICU.
Taylor, the retriever mix with the funny haircut that we got from the shelter last week.
And Paxton, my itty bitty pitty boy!

Edit: OH! I forgot about Bambi. She was a new dog we took in last week. Little JRT. She got adopted today as well. :)

Oh, and the possible is a choc lab pup that we just took in today. Can't go forward till she's spayed and vet checked.

That is wonderful Cat

Dan LOVES me!! HE DOES!!

:lol::lol:

He bought me a live crab at the farmers market. This may not seem like a big deal but I LOVE crab. In an OHMYGOSH HEAVEN kinda thing. BUT I break out in hives if I touch their shells. So I've had crab 4x (including now) in 25+ years...because he has to do everything and he hates crab (has to cook it outside on the bbq so the house doesn't smell like it)...so it's a total sacrifice when he does it.

Funny crab moment. We bought the crab and put it on ice in the kitchen sink then ran around to do our errands. Came home and Dan went out to start the bbq. I looked in the sink to see if it was possible to pick it up by the tongs. It's nearly 3lbs on it's own. The dogs were with me...the crab did a ju jitsu move and attacked the tongs. I screamed. The dogs....my heros...ran and hid behind Dan's chair.:lol:

Dan is a great guy. LMAO at your pups though.

Kona kept trying to take Dan's hat so Dan gave it to him....Uncle Chris will like this one

awwww, what a cute pup

sigh. I was dumping out the boiling water (outside) & the crab shifted in the pot. The lid slipped. I lost control and poured boiling water on my foot. I was wearing flip flops. :| So I went to soak my foot in cold water (in the bathtub) and the cat fell in the tub.

This is getting farcical.

Ouch. Hope you are ok, and that the burn is not too bad

Question to ponder before answering.

Say someone came along, and said that they were going to give you enough money for a year to live on, provided you did something productive in that time period. This benefactor would pay for any place for you to live so that you could do this "whatever" without distraction. Anywhere in the world. But at the end of the year, you had to produce something, anything, that you've always wanted to do but couldn't because of other responsibilities.

What would that be? Where would you go?

Just curious.

Down to either South America or Asia to study primates, and take lots of photos

Gotta love it when husbands forget to mention things.:lol:

Apparently I'm shooting a renewal of vows next weekend. I don't mind at all, but I'm glad I have at least week's notice. This couple is D's assistant and her husband. They have been married a lot of years (not sure how many) and he's been given 6mo to live (cancer).

Hope it goes well, and it is great that you can help them celebrate their special day.

Evening everyone. Long day at work - full of crazy people at the Zoo, but I get a break from it starting tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hello! Here a few of my recent favorites for music.

Muse--The Resistance
White Rabbit--Percussion Gun
Sick Puppies--I love the entire Dressed up as Life album
The Avett Brothers--I and love and you
Murder in the City

I hope everyone has had a nice weekend. I did manage to get the knee high lawn mowed between torrential downpours today.

Yo *waves*

Not caught up yet, just checking in.

Shot a race in the rain today. No not drizzle, RAIN. It was okay though, I think I had really nice light albeit a little dim.

I have not seen Wu yet. She wore her petals out sight seeing today so we will do tomorrow.

I hope everyone is well.

It's really a generation separator. :lol::lol:
