Nice move, Jon.

Cat, kumquats are small, look like a tiny pearish/oval shaped orange (about the size of two marbles stuck together. You eat them skin and all...the skin is thinner than tangerine skin. They are not too tart and not too sweet (a wonderful balance btw. the two). Such a refreshing summer snack and full of vitamin C.

LOL, thanks for the move Jon.

Lexi update: She is starting to eat and drink, moving around the house more comfortably too!

good news!

Terri:

These two beauties are at one of the shelters north of us.
We took their photos and will contact Arctic rescue in Vegas to see if they can take them.
Brother and sister, about 4 yrs old. GORGEOUS.

oh my gosh these guys are GORGEOUS! You can' take them?
the new HART dogs are so cute too. Love the aussie/catahula (sp, I know) mix.

... It turns out that when you make your payment the day the statement is issued, they consider it an extra payment, and not credited towards the amount due, thereby making it late. ....

Are you serious? That totally doesn't make any sense at all.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

sorry Heather. That totally sucks. I have one credit card co that continually tries deceptive practices and just hopes you won't notice.

Nice digs. :D

Jon, good job on the move, and great wall hangings too. :D

JJ, neat looking pipe bed. What's the load rating on one of those?

Cat, a bunch of great looking dogs, I like the colouring on Vikki.

Heather, you have a good right to complain. That sure seems like a weird call on the payment.

They are in a no-kill shelter, so they are safe. Not ideal... but not in danger.
If Arctic Rescue will take them, it would be ideal. We would do the transport.

And Vikki looks so much like our Keeya and Obi.
With this being the third dog we've pulled that looks like this, I'm wondering if it's a specific breed, rather than a Catahoula/Aussie mix like we're thinking.

We were trying to decide what kind of dog he might be. He's small... not as big as a lab. He's very underweight, but I would guess at proper weight he would be about a 50lb dog.

Oops. Edit that. I was thinking you were talking about Taylor. His name was Ben when we pulled him. LOL. We had to rename him, because we couldn't have 2 Bens at the same time. He didn't respond to his name, where the other Ben did. So he got his changed.

Ben is on the large side for a Border Collie, but he's overweight.

Tell me about it. That was what I was saying to the call center personal, but it took speaking to a supervisor to get the charge removed

I know, but will now wait until a couple of days after I get the statement to pay it, instead of paying it early.

Thanks everyone for letting me rant a bit about that credit card. This is the first time that I have had a problem, and although it took a bit of badgering (and most of you know me and how quiet I am) but the charge should be removed by next week (Three business days).

Cat - loving the new H.A.R.T. dogs - I want the lab mix (if I could) he looks adorable.

Neat JJ

Thanks for the move Jon. Off to see the horses.

That was a fun horse ride that you linked an hour or so ago.

Found an old pic of the bed in action. The speakers were wired in through the pipes and I had those mulit-colored rope lights strung up as well.

He has interesting markings, I'm sure there's mostly collie in there, the ears turning over are cute!
