I guess so. That's what I was reading. A 70' T-boat built in the '50's. Nice Bering Sea bow, working boom and winch, wooden decks, I'd buy it and live on it. :D

:D You could fly a pirate flag.

A 70 'er sounds like a nice size for a leisure home.

I saw a really nice and classy shipsof that size. the outer hull looked like it could use some serious spa time at the sand blaster shack, but the inside... teak, oak, brass fittings... i swear, I could live in that. Much in the same way you could live in a furbished Pullman, Wool.

it is fokeh, not bokeh or however you say it that you see. The stripes are closer to the camera, the flag is flying on a house pole that sticks out at about 80 degrees. I am next to the house, under the flag.

Got it, sort of, my eye still doesn't see it, but I understand what you are saying.

Well, you are on the list, and it really isn't all that long, so.....OK.

YAY!!!!

Was out at Eli's playoff game, they won. Eli hit at every at bat and scored the winning run, he got a game ball and is over the moon Mama used the 135 for some then switched to the 70-200 as I couldn't get far enough away for plays at home.

Go, Eli, that is so cool. Loved the pictures. Give him a high five for me.

May I print this off to give to my son this weekend? He will need this before he knows it...and of course I'll let him know we so should have had one earlier than this.:D

WU sorry I missed you, but you sound like life is going oh so much better, I sure hope so and glad that it is.

Hello all. I'm waiting for my cousin to arrive, probably about 1/2 hour yet. I think it has been over 5 years since I last saw her and her hubby. House is now all ready (just cleaned the toilets):lol: Yes, I washed my hands before coming to the key board.:p;)

So, wha'sup?

For reasons I do not feel like going into I am most likely going to be selling my gear, body, lenses etc.

That said, is anyone in here interested in anything I have or know someone that would be? This isn't 100% guaranteed that I'm selling but it's looking more and more likely as the days go by. I'll probably be picking up a P&S with the money (subject of another thread)so as to keep at least my pinky toe in the sandbox.

Anyhow, off the top of my head I have the 5D, 17-40 L, 28-75 2.8 Tammy, 70-200 f/4 L and nifty fifty.

PM me if you want as keeping track of responses in this thread is very hard for me as I cannot get onto POTN like I used to. :(

So sorry to hear this, Kody.

Harm wrote in post #10296873 (external link)
Sorry to hear that, Kody. We can only respect your wishes and not push you into why, but I can heartily speak for others here and hope that your situation changes and that you do not need to sell anything!

That^^^^

The first one wasn't bad....spent many hours cruising the lakes and canals on that. Not a bad way to kill a weekend or three.
