We use to have a Portuguese bakery here that had Malazadas, sort of a thin skinned doughnut, but different type of dough, more like an elephant ear. Anyway, they would stuff these with home made chocolate pudding..

*OMG... I'm drooling.. slurp*

Masala Dosa is a very thin rice pancake filled with curried potato and onions, it really is the best breakfast in the world, closely followed by Idly

homemade methi pranthas, complete with achar and yoghurt are a good breakfast too, when in india (or whenever I go to see my parents since mum makes them sooooooo much better than I do!!)...

What I can't understand is I always manage to lose weight when I am in India yet I eat more there than I do here, I never have "problems" and I very quickly discovered that no matter how fancy the restaurant the best food is cooked by the side of the road in the Dhabas.

Well that is cause of the spices...what goes in, does come out (sometimes with a kick) ;) So you can eat triple the amount and still stay skinny :D

And yes, I loved going on a scooter, then stopping at the side of the road for some good, quick foods on the sides...Beat the restaurants hands down.

Krispy Kream doughnuts are really good when they are hot. They almost melt in your mouth, but now they have been putting them in the grocery stores and when they are 8~12~24 hours old, they are heavy and way too sweet.

Can't get 'em fresh anymore here. Local Krispy Kream closed, and the ones on store shelves are no where near as tasty as the ones fresh out of the oil.

A few thoughts about Tiffany's post......

1. I hope she reconsiders, but I am in total sympathy to the feelings of being unwanted.

2. To the best of my knowledge, there is only one person who posts here regularly who genuinely dislikes me. I once considered leaving the thread because of that individual,

Speaking only for myself, I have great affection for everyone here (yes, even 'that' person). I can't imagine a day without logging on and seeing what everyone is up to, [...] and so forth.

I noticed my insanity is conspicuously absent.... ;)

On Point 1) Definitely Ditto!

And Point 2) Someone here dislikes you? No Way!

2. To the best of my knowledge, there is only one person who posts here regularly who genuinely dislikes me. I once considered leaving the thread because of that individual, but ultimately decided that there are enough genuine friends here who would not understand that logic. So here I am, and so shall I remain. Hopefully someday this person and I will work out our differences, and things will be peachy again. In the meantime, we give each other lots of room, and try not to make things worse. I would hope FaFa and whomever could find it in their hearts to do the same.

It's not that I don't like you TOM, but the restraining order and cease and desist order doesn't always sit right by me. When I'm stalking you it's not out of anger or malice, but like Zane it's Love ♥.

The rest of your 'mission statement' I agree with.
