He reminds me of Amadeus. You should name him Wolfgang (and of course pronounce it Volfie)

We were calling him Joe Cocker in the play yard, and singing to him.

Today's shelter dogs:

Rex is a Llewellin Setter.
I had to look that up when I got home. Had never heard of them before. He's gorgeous.

Reason for owner release to the shelter: Too high energy.

He's a real neat dog, I haven't heard of them either. Definitely a Setter though. Does he seem smarter than an Irish (sure looks the same), 'cause the two I have known weren't exactly the sharpest spoon in the drawer, iffen you know what I mean. ;)

And GRRRRRR. What the hell do these people think when getting a dog, especially one like that. Of course they have lots of energy. Some consider that a good thing.

And this guy, (haven't named him yet). 2 yr old Cocker that was dumped in the shelter yard when they were closed. (Which is against the law, by the way. Grrr)

What a handsome little boy he is! I hope he finds an excellent home.

Percy the Pomeranian. Stray that no one claimed.

Very good looking dogs, should be very adoptable, yes?

LOL!!

REX!! WANT!! Oh my gosh he's beautiful. I seriously do not think any dog could be higher energy than Kona. No lie.

He just ripped around the house...I know you guys say you wouldn't let him...but we just hide.:lol: He's still a freakin' fanged tornado.

Hahahaha! That is cute.

I wasn't trying to be funny.... Kona is a great companion for you guys, but my take on him is that when he decides he's going to rip a few laps around the living room, your best strategy is duck and cover.

People don't research the breed they want, and the dog is the one that suffers.

Yes. I'll be surprised if we have to pull any of these. They are all adoptable from the shelter.
With the exception of Abby. She's been there awhile, and is a bit scary to the average person.

Yes, it is cute. And it is true.

When he gets the rips, we respond in the very same way that tornado victims respond. Hunker down, stay away from breakable items and wait it out.
