Just in case this was an aborted effort to capture the two sharing some love, a bit of advice - when you ask the older one to give her sibling a hug, make sure you say 'around the tummy, not the neck

that won't last long, and actually it's kind of good in a wierd sort of way. We have a little nephew. As a matter of fact, his 6th birthday party is today. He has an 8 year old sister and a 8 year old cousin (another girl) who both beat up on him from the time he could walk.

Trust me, he is one TOUGH 6 year old now!

She is constantly bugging her brother.. taking away every toy.. hurting/pinching him when I'm not looking.. I feel bad that I actually LIKE it when my 1yo slaps her in the face! hehehe...
