Ok, so a couple of weeks ago I registered the domain photosbyt.ca

I see that there is already a dot com, and since I'm in Canada and only plan to shoot locally then I didn't mind the .ca domain

I have another concern through, all of a sudden. I do not like the sound of Photos by T. It doesn't seem as nice and elegant as the full name company names and domains.

(deleted message - I deleted it because this thread is showing when I search for my name on google) :(

that's a very personal question that you'll have to answer. As far as the website, whatever is easiest to remember is probably the better choice. I thought it would be easier to just use my name, but it was already taken so I had to choose a different one, but in my experience it seems like everyone remembers my name easier than my company.

I'm not big on "Photos by T" And Photosbyt sounds kind of computery (as in, byte).

What about "TBPhotography" or something simple like that. Or something that combines your names... something like "TherBrer Photography"

Is the photosbyT.com another photographer in Canada? If so, I would not use the photosbyt.ca since most people will use the .com by habit and might go to the wrong site by accident.

I like the "TBPhotography" or "TheresaBPhotography", although that might be a little long.

Unless you are known as "T" I would not use it. If your name is available I would grab it. You dont have to use it for your photography, but I you might want it for something. I always recommend getting your name as a domain if it is available. If nothing else turn it into an online resume.

I really like Bereton Photography. Did you check that? Simple and easy to remember.
