Thanks to Jet Blues 10 year anniversary special, in which all flights were 10 dollars if you took off Tuesday and returned Wednesday, my GF and I were able to take a 24 hours trip to Aruba. Here are some pictures from the trip as always C&C is very much appreciated!:
1- The view from our balcony. Hotel staff was great and upgraded us to a one bed room suite. I highly recommend the Aruba Phoenix Hotel and Resort. Great staff and location.
2-A shot of my GF after a dip in the ocean
3-Took this shot from a pier which had a bar and a restaurant on it.
4-A peak into the other side of the pier. Notice all the boats near the shore
5- Sunset shots on the beach
6- Worked a lot on this and really liked how this shot came out in post process. Let me know what you all think
8- Funny story behind this last picture. I was putting away all my stuff in the morning before heading off to the airport and i hear my girlfriend on the balcony saying "here birdie birdie". I walk over and saw this little fellow so i ran back and got my camera plus some fries to keep him around. He was very straight forward and even took food right from my GFs hands. He also was very territorial as he would charge other smaller birds who approached his balcony. You can see more on my Flickr.
