My 35L is coming in a day or two and I'm re-evaluating my lens collection. I currently have the 24-70mm 2.8L and 17-40mm 4L for my 5D Classic. Considering photography is strictly just my hobby, I'm thinking it's wise to reduce/lessen my investment in this.
So I was thinking of the 2 options below.
1. Sell the 24-70mm 2.8L for a 24-105mm IS 4L to use as my walk around lens. I'll have the 35L for my indoor needs.
2. Sell the 17-40mm 4L and continue to use the 24-70mm 2.8L as my walk around lens. I do like to work with landscape shots (but I haven't found time recently really to go take landscapes and just mostly using the 24-70mm 2.8L).
I think I'm leaning towards option 1 as it'll give me a little more reach and IS (I have some what shakey hands and every once in a while, I wish my arsenal had a little more reach); but I'm not sure if I want to let go of this brick!
Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated! Thanks!
