Hi all

Here are a few more shots of European Shags. It's great fun to watch them when they are building nests. They have the bad habit of stealing building material from each other. The bird in the second shot was stealing from a nearby nest just to find out that he himself had been robbed when he returned. One almost wonders how they can ever finish building the nests with all this going on. ;-)a

Amazing series, Sindri. Not only a very interesting bird, but your photos have incredible detail, as always.

Sindri,
all stunning photographs, they just kept getting better and better as I scrolled through them. The eye and crown are over the top on these birds. all grandly composed. Loved the entire series!!!

These birds have quite the hairdo. Excellent shots Sindri, very pretty birds and the eyes are stunning. Enjoyed the story about them stealing from each other, very funny behavior.

These are fantastic shots Sindri. I was watching the egret rookery a few weeks ago and they were all stealing sticks from each other, even the herons got in on it. :)
