Was at the cottage Wednesday night, the moon rose quickly just at dusk, I took a number of exposures allowing the full brightness, and also exposing to get some details of surface.

Taken with a 20D and Sigma 80-400mm at 400.

First shot: ISO 200, 1 second exposure, F5.6.

Second: 1/8 second, 5.6.

Wow, all I can say is B-I-G!

You might want to re-size these to about 800 on the long side.

Hmmm, my first attempt at posting images in message rather than a link, my apologies while I figure out how to get this to a more manageable size.......

While I sort through the FAQ, let's try this link:

hey, can you please make the images bigger, it's tough to judge at this small size! :D

Sorry, couldn't resist. Try changing your Resolution from 300 to 72. That's probably the bit you missed.

l8r,

Oh My! I appear to be of the "go big or go home" poster types.

My critiques of photos are just comments. You can agree or disagree with them. A photo is as perfect as the person who took it thinks it is. The photo's for you, not me.
