I am always into something. Usually something that requires hands on work. I am a mechanic but have done/do/try stuff like welding, electrical, plumbing, roofing, carpentry, painting, sewing, cooking, baking, farming, landscaping, musician, etc. Photography is my main hobby.

It all started when I was kidnapped from my London flat and imprisoned in a remote seaside village in Wales.....

Funny, that happened to me, too!

Nice truck! One of my friends has a Syclone over here in the UK. Very rare in the UK. Not sure how rare they are in the US though. Very, very fast trucks those Syclones!

:-)

Thanks very much! Syclones are gorgeous trucks and they're rare everywhere! (They only made 2998 of them). They were my dream vehicle for a long time...sadly I sold my S10 (it had 300,000 km on the original transmission, rear end, body...), but I'd love to have something similar again (either a Sy or a bagged Mazda)...one day :)

Advaitin is an adaptation of the Sanskrit for one who follows the philosophy of Advaita. From Hinduism, it is a subset of Vedanta. Basically means I once did a whole lot of reading about religion and ultimately decided the logic of this one seems more plausible than all the others. To me, that is, no offense to the choices of others. It's kind of obscure and exotic for westerners, so I use it in all my online endeavors, but I don't really hide who I am--clear enough in my profile and Avatar.

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.
