I use my real name for all Internet stuff because I want some levelnof accountability in what I post. I don't want to hide behind the anonymity of a pseudonym. Please don't go quoting this and post back that YOU aren't doing that for the same reason. That's just MY reason and im not accusing others of "hiding" anything. People here get very defensive over the least little thing! Thats just MY thought process. Sue Cassidy.

DEFENSIVE!!!! What the heck do you mean defensive.

You folks are soooo creative.

In that stoopid moment when the registration process asks you "what login name:" I was just drawing a blank. First name - first initial of last name. What a loser.....

When I was younger and cheaper (actually, I am still kind of cheap) I used to get free online access by using the AOL, 30 day free, floppy disks that they mailed out. Every month I had to think of a new screen name (I always hated names with numbers to make them unique). One time when I was having trouble coming up with something, guess what was flying around the room. Ever since then, hairy_moth seems to be available on just about every board I visit.

Mine is many years old...

I am huge into amusement parks and rollercoasters... Consider me a "fanatic" for coasters and such, so my name came from that

Invertalon:

Invert (type of rollercoaster.. inverted).
Talon (was my favorite coaster at the time).

I just blended them together! I like it though, even though my tastes have changed :D

I got the Boingo from Oingo Boingo and the Bongo from Matt Groening's "Life in Hell" character. It's an old name and I'm not terribly fond of it anymore, haha.

High school name and college mascot. I've kept the same user/screen name for years on different websites for continuity.

It was given to me by my boys father one day about 14yrs ago and never left.

Funny part about the boards is there are people who actually think my last name is Baccala. SMH.

Such fools.
