Like Stephen, this is a new one for the list! I first saw some on Tuesday morning but this morning was able to go back & get some better shots. A bird that sounds as good as it looks. Taken with the 500 + 1.4X TC.

The sun came out an hour after you called and I got a reprieve from family commitments. The Tanager was shot in the afternoon after the girls called for me to get my act in gear and get to the 'Woods' for the migration show. Quite a day. Did you make it to the photography show? http://joenoordman.smugmug.com/

Thanks Joe.....Deb decided that she would go with me to the show, however as we were getting ready to leave the sun came out, so it was quickly determined that I should go to Thickson's instead Scott
